Studio 1.2 Group/Class Critique
Critique
In this session we got into small groups and pitched our best/favourite matrix ideas, my matrix got chosen by the group to be further developed and presented to the class. These two stages of critique were helpful in discovering how other people viewed my ideas and how they would interpret them. This helped me to find out that the labelling of my activity as a whole is very important in communicating what it is i want to focus on or the focus of the brochure is, also the issue of what subjects should be included in my brochure was highlighted as i need to make sure the pieces i choose can truly be or are widely considered as actual 'art'. I also got positive feedback on the use of the more abstract concept of elements as my point of difference instead of location, terrain etc. which i am happy with as it is something which will help to bring a different flair to my brochure and help to influence my use of colour and imagery later in the design process.
